One more beach picture (the last for a while, I promise). I think this one works for the Shades of Gray theme because there is a spectrum of grays . . . from blue-gray at the top to the brown-gray at the bottom.

Sand Sea and Sunshine the perfect mixture.
I like the part where the sand is swallowing the wet surface.
It is a nice segment of shoreline with all the different patterns that the waves create. Makes me want stick my feet in it.
